More Years On The Tractor Seat
Description
Arthur Battelle`s Series Of Books About His Life With Tractors From The 1930`s Onwards
More years on the tractor seat opens in 1949 shortly after his marriage and takes us through the second decade of his life-long involvement with tractors. The faithful David Brown is still with us but now we join Arthur on the International Harvester B250 and B450. Fordson Dexta and Major tractors feature in due course as do radio-controlled models.
Arthur moved from farmer to cultivation contractor, agricultural engineer and tractor demonstrator in the United Kingdom as well as on the Continent. It's all here along with the humorous sketches of the characters he met along the way.
Unfortunatly the preceeding book to this one (Early Years on the Tractor Seat) and the sequel to this (Final Years on the Tractor Seat) are out of publish at this time. You may be able to find them in online bookshops, ebay or libraries. You can also check back to our website as they could come back into print at anytime...
